Dramatische Bilanz bei Europas größtem Autobauer: Volkswagen meldet für das Geschäftsjahr 2024 einen Einbruch beim Nettogewinn von 30,6 Prozent. Vor allem wegen des massiven Rückgangs der Zahlen auf dem chinesischen Markt verkaufte der Konzern insgesamt deutlich weniger Fahrzeuge. Dem Gehalt von Vorstands-Boss Oliver Blume hat das nicht geschadet – im Gegenteil: Trotz Gehaltsverzichts erhielt Blume 10,35 Millionen Euro (einschl. Altersvorsorge und variabler Vergütung), also 5,4 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr (9,7 Mio. Euro). Das geht aus dem Geschäftsbericht des Konzerns hervor. Blumes Gesamtgehalt setzt sich aus den Bezügen von VW und von der Konzerntochter Porsche zusammen. Blume ist Vorstandschef beider Unternehmen. Wie kommt das Gehalts-Plus zustande? Blume hatte 2024 wie der gesamte Konzernvorstand auf fünf Prozent seines Fixgehalts bei Volkswagen verzichtet. Entsprechend schrumpfte sein Grundgehalt bei Europas größtem Autobauer von 1,3 auf 1,235 Millionen Euro. Auch die variable Vergütung bei VW fiel etwas niedriger aus als zuvor. Im Gegenzug wuchs aber das Gehalt bei Porsche.
